Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, arrived in Belgium on Monday, according to the local media.
The royal couple landed in Belgium ahead of commemorations for the reopening of the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres, which commemorates the names of more than 54,000 missing Commonwealth soldiers from the war.
A report said that Anne joined Belgium's Princess Claire attended the commemorations.
The report said that the monument had been closed since early 2023 for extensive restoration work.
It said the Menin Gate is one of four memorials to the missing in Belgian Flanders, covering the area known as the Ypres Salient.
Princess Anne and her husband were given a warm welcome upon their arrival in Belgium.
Princess Claire of Belgium is a British-Belgian who has been married to Prince Laurent since 2003 and is the sister-in-law of King Philippe.
