Kristen Stewart talks early career desperation: ‘I was so hungry'

Kristen Stewart reportedly struggled to find a balance during The Twilight Saga's filming. 

As per the current findings of Harper Bazaar, the Love Lies Bleeding star was ‘desperate to work’ in movies other than Twilight but could not do so.

Appearing on the latest episode of SmartLess podcast, the 30-year-old actress declared that while she was filming the five movies’ series, she “wanted to make other movies at the same time so badly.”

The ex-girlfriend of Robert Pattinson also said, “I was so hungry for more work because the Twilight series itself took forever.”

She even mentioned this ‘hunger’ to be the reason why she did various projects that were thrown at her during that time without a second thought.

“We all, if we were able to, tried to slam one in between,” Kristen furnished.

She also explained, “That was why it was such a loaded period, because we were either promoting one of these movies, making one of these movies, or trying to shove in something that gave you some variation."

"Not in terms of what it was for other people, but just so you could do something other than play that one part for f****** six years," she concluded.
