Projections were on J. Cole's side that he may clinch the top spot for his Might Delete Later at the Billboard 200. But, Beyoncé's reigns continues uninterrupted at the chart with her Cowboy Carter.
The latest album of the Grammy winner, according to HitsDailyDouble, position at No.1 remains unharmed. Its competitor the She Knows rapper's hot mixtape will trail on the second spot.
Sharing the estimates of album units, the outlet reports, that the Lemonade singer's sales of the units in the second week of the album release will be 131,000. On the other hand, the 39-year-old is expected to net approximately 118,000 units.
An earlier report from the trade website however suggested strong numbers for J. Cole's album, adding that it would lead the Billboard 200 chart with 140,000 to 160,000 album units for the first week of release.
Apart from banger tracks on the album, 7 Minute Drill is the one that has created much furore. The track dissed Kendrick Lamar for his mocking verse in Like That.
But in a surprising turn of events, J. Cole removed the much-talked-about song and apologized for making it public.
