Zack Snyder is dishing a less-known thing about his Justice League in which Superman turned against the team was the idea of Leonardo DiCaprio.

The revelation comes amid the promotions of Rebel Moon: Part Two, where the critically-acclaimed director opted to discuss his past DC project.

The filmmaker revealed he approached the Oscar winner and Adam Driver for the Lex Luthor role.

“I think I did talk to Adam Driver on the phone, yep,” adding, “Leonardo DiCaprio I talked to about it.”

“Yeah, I think so,” the year-old believed the character triggered his interest.

“I think DiCaprio—he had a lot of great ideas actually just in the meeting, I think in the end he was kinda like, ‘Eh, I dunno,’ but he was really smart about the material and really smart about the character he had a lot of… [good ideas].”

Nonetheless, Zack revealed he added the idea to the film. “I think he was the one that mentioned to me this idea about Superman fighting the Justice League at some point, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s cool,'” he told on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.

Leonardo, on his part, was a big comic fan, the 58-year-old revealed.

“Yeah, he is [a comic book guy], so it was cool,” he continued. “And I was like, ‘I’m gonna put that [idea] over there, that’s gonna happen.’”
