Simon Cowell suffers from 'migraines' at 'Britain's Got Talent'

Simon Cowell gets migraines and its because of the harsh lighting on set of Britain’s Got Talent, as per Amanda Holden.

As the two veteran judges gear to launch the latest series of the reality talent show, the 53-year-old actress revealed that the TV mogul wears his iconic orange-tinted glasses to protect his eyes during the shooting of BGT.

This comes after Simon revealed, on Wednesday, that he suffers from splitting headaches.

His fellow judge and pal, Amanda has now jokingly mentioned that those same lights are used to keep them all “looking young.”

In a conversation with her Heart Breakfast co-hosts Ashley Roberts and Jason King, she discussed Simon’s migraines, saying, “Well, he does suffer from migraines and the lights are very bright.”

“But I also think they’re quite flattering on him so I would imagine it’s a heady mix of all of those things. But he does get bad headaches bless him,” she added.

Commenting on the choice of the 65-year-old’s tinted glasses, Ashley mentioned, “I think it’s a nice fashion choice,” to which Amanda responded in agreement, saying, “I love it on him, it’s like Bono! Bono started it didn’t he?”

She then proceeded to explain, “I think it’s more preventative because of the amount of lighting that’s on me and him to keep us looking young.”

For the unversed, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli are returning back to the screens as the renowned judgement panel for Britain’s Got Talent reunited to film auditions for the upcoming series.
