Brooklyn Beckham just addressed his dynamics with his father and celebrity footballer, David Beckham.
The Beckham family have recently made headlines due to a family rift going on between the retired sportsman and Victoria Beckham with their son and his wife, Nicola Peltz.
It further fueled speculations when Brooklyn and his wife did not attend David’s 50th birthday celebrations, with The Mail reporting, that their other son, Romeo's girlfriend, Kim Turnbull has been made the “scapegoat” in the feud.
However, in an interview with The Sunday Times, Brooklyn seemed to have no grudges against David as he fondly recalled them bonding over racing.
Speaking of the Formula E Evo Sessions in Miami, he stated, “It's something that me and my dad bonded over,” revealing that his love for racing began when he was very young.
“My dad's had some pretty cool cars,” Brooklyn further added, stating that David's top choice is his “1954 Jaguar, which I very rarely drive, only when the weather's perfect.”
These comments come after it was reported that the celebrity sportsman is “desperate to make amends with his son Brooklyn as he fears history is repeating itself” addressing David’s own painful fall out with his father, Ted in 2005.
Even though, the 50 and 77-year-old father-son duo are on good terms now, there was a time when the two wont even speak to each other.
As per The Sun, a close friend of David reportedly stated, “David and the family genuinely fear Brooklyn could be lost to them forever. The word 'lost', here, is especially poignant as it was the exact sentiment used when David fell out with his dad.”
