Buckingham Palace has shared new major update about Prince Edward, The Duke of Edinburgh as the royal family marks Mental Health Awareness Week.

The palace shared on its official social media handles that the Duke of Edinburgh visited St Andrew's Youth Club.

The statement reads, “As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, The Duke of Edinburgh visited St Andrew’s Youth Club in Westminster.”

During the visit, Prince Edward took part in a range of wellbeing-focused activities, including baking, mindful colouring, and essential oil blending.

He also had the opportunity to watch an under-9s football match.

St Andrew’s recently welcomed a dedicated mental health practitioner to their team through the charity Mind. This specialist provides group workshops and one-on-one support, offering young people practical tools to manage their mental health.

St Andrews is one of London Youth’s member clubs. In 2020 The Duke became patron of the charity, taking over from his father who held the role for 74 years.

Earlier, the palace also shared update about King Charles and Queen Camilla.

It said the King and Queen, as Joint Presidents, have attended the Elephant Family’s ‘Wonders of the Wild’ event at Kew Gardens, to celebrate art and conservation.
