Sarah Ferguson turned her attention towards the United States with a tribute to American innovation after attending an event at London’s Benjamin Franklin House.

This comes as King Charles prepares for his upcoming visit to Canada to open that nation’s parliament.

The Duchess of York attended the event and shared her admiration for Franklin’s legacy on Instagram.

Highlighting his role in transforming society through bold ideas, Fergie praised today’s young innovators for carrying forward that spirit.

“Over 200 years ago, Benjamin Franklin showed the world how bold ideas, when combined with action and purpose, could transform society,” she penned.

Ferguson added, “Today, that same spirit lives on in the next generation of young innovators tackling global challenges with creativity, empathy, and determination.”

"As someone passionate about uplifting young people, I believe their ideas—when nurtured and supported—have the power to shape a better future for all.

"Thank you to the incredible team at Benjamin Franklin House for hosting such a thoughtful and inspiring evening."
