Journalist and assistant editor at The Sun, Clemmie Moodie recently penned a piece about Prince Harry and his apparently self-serving approach to life.
The conversation erupted in her piece for the outlet, and in it she alleged that the Duke only cares to ‘serve himself’.
It reads, “Like many ex-military men, he has lost his sense of purpose: one he so evidently hoped to find as one half of the world’s hottest, most powerful power couple.”
But “as Harry is coming to discover, no amount of free champagne, red carpet sycophancy, dinner next door chez Gwyneth or appearances on Oprah can replace the camaraderie and raison d’etre of serving your country.”
For those unversed, Prince Harry has been known for giving explosive interviews since his move to the US with Meghan, and this backlash comes close to one month after his chat with the BBC.
In that conversation he not only accused his father of standing in the way when his security was being assessed, but also made explosive claims about not knowing ‘how long’ he has left because of lack of communication.
All of this led the writer to add “Harry’s only purpose now is serving himself,” it seems. Only with “no discernible talent” as compared to his “ex-royal influencer” wife.
The reason for this comment was due to Meghan’s overwhelming success wit As Ever.
