Princess Eugenie has penned a sweet note on her son's birthday.
On Friday, Eugenie, Princess of York, celebrated her son Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank’s second birthday.
Taking to Instagram, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson posted a carousel of adorable photos of her son.
Most of the pictures showcased Ernest with his elder brother August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. Meanwhile, one featured the youngest one with his father Jack and another with his mother Eugeni.
In the caption, the niece of King Charles wrote, "Happy Birthday my darling Ernie. 2 today! And what an incredible two years it's been."
"Always smiling, always laughing, always giving hugs and hello's and making everyone happy. My golden boy, we love you!" Eugenie added.
Notably, fans and followers also showered birthday wishes for the 2-year-old in the comments section.
One user wrote, "Happy, Happy 2nd Birthday Ernie!!! Lots of love to you all!!"
"Happy Birthday Ernie hope you have the best day celebrating," another added.
The third user noted, "They are so adorable… And they're getting so big."
It is worth mentioning that this comes after Princess Eugenie takes on a new royal role.
As reported by Hello! Magazine, the Princess of York, who is passionate about art, has been appointed as a Global Ambassador for Thirty Six For Coral, an art exhibition and auction dedicated to coral reef conservation.
Speaking about her new role, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson said, "Despite occupying less than 1 per cent of the seabed, coral reefs support 25 per cent of all life in the ocean, and one billion people around the world depend on coral reefs for food and jobs."
"I'm pleased to be supporting Thirty Six for Coral, an important art exhibition that will help connect more people to the irreplaceable value of coral reefs, and raise essential funding to help protect and restore them for future generations," Princess Eugenie, wife of Jack Brooksbank added.
