Prince William shares message for the Lionesses after latest visit

Kensington Palace on Monday shared Prince William's message for the women's national football team after the Prince of Wales met the England Lionesses.

"An inspiring visit to St. George’s Park ahead of the Women’s Euros," said the prince.

He said it was, "Great to see the Lionesses inspiring more women and girls to get into football through the Made for This Game campaign before lending a hand with the Euros shirt printing! Sarina, the staff and the Lionesses are ready!"

According to the local media, the Prince of Wales wished the women's football team luck ahead of the 2025 UEFA Women's Euro competition.

Express.co.uk reported that the future king, who is the Patron of the Football Association, arrived at the England's national football centre to take part in several key activities with the squad.

During his visit, the eldest son of King Charles was informed about the team's preparedness for the tournament by Head Coach Sarina Wiegman.

He then witnessed a Made for This Game activity with a junior girl's football team which formed after the Lioness' victory in 2022.

The Prince of Wales printed some of the shirts for the England's Women's Euro team and presented them to each of the 23 players selected for the national squad during his visit.

Meanwhile, William is expected to travel to Switzerland to support the team as they defend their European Championship title.
