Prince Harry shows deep emotion in powerful speech

Prince Harry showed deep emotion and compassion during a powerful speech he delivered at the 2025 NEXUS Global Summit in New York.

The Duke of Sussex spoke about the importance of service, community, and tackling the root causes of social isolation at the key event.

"As the world gets harder, as people’s lives become harder, compassion can shrink,” Harry said. “The thing that gives me the most hope is the grassroots approach.”

He added, “Many of you here today are connected and involved with so many community solutions, because it’s what energises all of you, and that service part is really what energises me."

Analyzing his body language, expert Darren Stanton said that Harry appeared “selfless” and “authentic,” noting his hand gestures, eye contact, and emotional delivery as signs he was speaking from the heart.

"Prince Harry is presenting himself with a sense of compassion and a depth of emotion,” the expert said, per The Express.

"You can see that when he’s speaking in front of this audience, he is clenching his fists, placing his hand on his chest, and demonstrating engaged and prolonged eye contact," he added.

"This suggests his words are coming from a place of empathy and honesty. He came across as his true, authentic self throughout."

The expert further added that Meghan Markle's husband showed his "selflessness" during his talk as he "wanted to let people in."
