King Charles has once again sparked fears over his health amid his ongoing treatment for an undiagnosed form of cancer.

The monarch raised eyebrows about his health after he was seen with a bloodshot eye while welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron at Windsor Castle.

Charles, who has been battling cancer since February 2024, appeared with a red right eye due to a burst blood vessel.

According to Radar Online, palace sources have dismissed fears that the King’s red eye has to do anything with his ongoing battle with cancer.

The outlet cited the Mayo Clinic, who compared a burst blood vessel in the eye to a simple skin bruise and said it’s usually not serious.

“A subconjunctival hemorrhage often occurs without any obvious harm to your eye,” they said.

“Even a strong sneeze or cough can cause a blood vessel to break in the eye. You don't need to treat it.

“A subconjunctival hemorrhage may look alarming, but it's usually a harmless condition that disappears within two weeks or so.”

This comes after a report claimed that King Charles is under pressure to make a decision on Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s royal titles.

A royal commentator said that the monarch should be the one to decide whether the Sussex kids will keep their royal titles, instead of leaving the decision to Prince William.

Writing for Daily Mail Australia, Sharon Hunt said the British Royal Family might follow the example of Denmark’s Queen Margrethe, who removed the titles of four of her grandchildren in 2022 to modernise the monarchy without causing a rift.

She further noted that the move would likely upset the Duke and Duchess of Sussex but it could help avoid bigger problems in the future.
